Here's what blossomed out of my head and through my fingers today...my "Secret Garden". It's somewhere I can always go to feel peaceful and content. It's a happy little place.

I'm getting the cookbook below for Maisie this Christmas. Not that SHE will be cooking up a storm for ME in the kitchen...but I will be for her. Maisie loves her treats and I wanted to get a really good book with organic recipes. I found this one while I was browsing through one of my favorite magazines, Doggie Aficionado. They have some great holiday gift ideas in their Fall issue.

I have a sneaky feeling though that James will be fighting Maisie over some of these goodies...hee hee.

The second annual "Dogs of 2009" Calendar is finally finished and listed in my Etsy Shop. In my opinion ;) it would be THE perfect gift or stocking stuffer for any dog lover!

Here's a new painting I just finished today titled "Pair of Pears". I never get tired of painting pears, the shapes and colors are always so enticing. Besides the fact that I get to eat them afterwards!

Here is the sister painting to "Windows" (from my previous post). I seem to be having problems uploading anything to Etsy today though...so it will probably be tomorrow before it appears for sale in my shop.

As for the photograph below...I took it the other night outside my studio when it was almost a full moon. It looked like the perfect winter moon so I had to try and capture it.

Just finished the above abstract today...hope you like it!

Haven't posted in several days as my Mom has been in town. We had a great time...she loved the new house and Maisie even more. I think Maisie is two pounds heavier though after Grandma spoiled her with buttered bread!

Yes, it's a crazy Monday!...lots of painting to do plus my Mom comes for a visit this Wednesday. She hasn't seen the new house so I'm really looking forward to showing it to her. The house will pale in comparison though to her meeting Maisie. I think that's really why she's coming!:)
