Maisie Rose and her toes

Here's Miss Maisie at the Vet's office last Friday...wearing her very stylish doggles in preparation for a laser treatment on her broken toe. We have to take Maisie in once a week to change the cast so when we do...she gets a laser zappin'! If you haven't heard about the Class IV laser therapy it's something you check out. It's an amazing new technology that helps alleviate chronic pain and accelerates an animal's healing and rehabilitation.

The photo below is of James, Maisie and our wonderful Vet, Dr. Abbott. Even though this has not been an easy time for all of us...we always laugh and have a good time caring for this little girl. Dr. Abbott is an amazing person too. She was Abby's doctor and we will always be thankful for the incredible care and kindness she showed us when Abby was so ill.

Whatcha'll doing today? It's REALLY cold and snowy here right now. I think it's a balmy 12 degrees at the moment...a good day to stay in and savor a warm, cozy house with a very sweet husband and a crazy girl dog.

Good morning Linda!
I love the pictures of Maisie in her Doggles! She is so stylish even at the Dr.'s office!
It is cold this morning! There were so many tiny birds at my feeder this morning with not too much seed left, that I bundled up to give them more food. I do not know how they stay warm!
Emmitt sends his love!

Linda: Maisie sure seems to have a strong spirit. She's also gorgeous as well!!

When I saw the picture of her with her vet, I wondered if she was the same vet that took such good care of Abbey. As I read on, I saw that she is.

Tell Ms. Maisie to take good care of her toe because Spring is on it's way and she'll be needin' to do a lot of running and pouncing about!!

Love:
Kim

Hey Linda!
Glad to see that Maisie is in good hands. Those goggles are killer!

It is a cold winter day here in Michigan. A wopping 16 degrees! That's actually a lot "warmer" than yesterday which was only 9 :)

I think I'd like to hibernate until April.

Hope Maisie heals quickly!

what a beautiful family you have linda! ;) your sweet baby girl and your handesome hubby..(your vet looks like a wonderful person as well).

yes, today it is beautiful here! (i am one of those weirdo's who is 'only happy when it rains'...so when i say 'beautiful' i mean, totally cloudy and overcast, freeeeezing! in the 50's here today, so for so. cal, that is really cold!

cozy weather to read to, crochet to, bead to, and do it all near a warm roaring fire with a hot cup of cocoa!!

it is sweater weather for sure!

hugs my friend,
shelbi

Maise is rockin' those glasses! She looks like a little WWI flying ace! Or a movie star.

Isn't it wonderful to have a vet that you absolutely love? I do not know what we would have done without Dr. Nadine Govic from Fox Valley Animal Hospital. She's cared for all my dogs since they were puppies, and as far as I am concerned, we will never go to anyone else!

Rock on, Maise, and heal quickly! Oh - and be glad that you are not a dog that lives in Chicago. It's a little warmer today, but yesterday it got up to a whopping 2 degrees. Brrrrrr....

Missy Maisie you are serious stylin' woo-hoo in your Doggle Doo Dads!
You are fortunate to have the laser therapy available. And I guess there's not much of anything more precious than a vet you can trust with every ounce of your being!

we're still sending those miracle whippet healing thoughts.
all the best-
Patience

What a wonderful pic. Maisie in her Doggles. I know what having a great vet means. My favorite one for the dogs moved but our horse vet is awesome. Hope we can find a good one for the dogs and cats also. Hope Maisie heals fast.

Lytton is envious ... he wants to wear some doggles too!!

Maisie looks spiffy in them. I'm glad to hear that she's healing. It is still in the frigid zone here so L. is not getting out as much as he wants.

James is a cutie ...1st pic I have seen in the blog of him. The doggles are great. Poor baby ...she is really going through the ringer. They do tend to bond closer & deeper after something like this though.

Maisie could not possibly be more stylin at the doctor's office. She seriously looks like a rock star who just popped in for her laser treatment, ha ha ha, hee hee hee.

You need to come up with a fake rock star name for her. Like 'May Starshine', or 'Hazey Maizarelli', or just 'Maize', like 'Prince' or 'Madonna'. Heh heh heh...

She could have her own band and backup dancers, and they could call themselves "Maize and the Doggles'. Woohoo, ha ha ha, too funny...
