Interesting blog title you say? Well, let me explain...the above is another installment of the Inner Circle Series I've been working on. It's morphing and I'm not sure where the heck it's going...but that's part of the fun!
The Prozac part is about a new book I'm going to get..."Puppy Chow is Better than Prozac" by Bruce Goldstein. I saw it in the Sunday paper and it looks like a great read. The name alone makes me want to buy it. In a nutshell, it's about a very depressed Author who's saving grace is a new slobbering puppy that comes into his life...and actually ends up saving his life. You can get it here if you're interested.
"I have found that when you are deeply troubled, there are things you get from the silent devoted companionship of a dog that you can get from no other source." ~Doris Day
By the way...Happy first day of Spring! It's about dang time!

What powerful visual impact for such a small painting! Very impressive.
Oh Bill beat me to my comment, only he said it more artfully. He said "powerful visual impact", I was going to say "wow".
sounds like a great book!

Wow, Linda! I LOVE this piece and the direction this series is taking!! I read your description on Etsy and it fits just perfectly. I can't think of a better release of sadness depiction!! Hugs, my friend... Shari
Hi Linda!
I love your new painting and new banner in your Etsy Shop. Emmitt is honored and loves you very much! Thank you for the book recommendation. I saved it to my wish list!

Hi Linda, that must be an interesting book. I love the painting. Wish you a happy Easter and Spring
The new painting IS wonderful, Linda. I can't wait to see how this series evolves!
Love the book title.
I can't read books about dogs or cats or animals of any kind. There's always something sad in them and I just can't take it. The last dog movie I watched.. The Dog named Skip movie just about put me over the edge... Let me know though how the book is... Hugs... p.s. I love the new art.
Stunning calligraphy and gorgeous collage!
Maybe I should toss off my Zoloft and get a zebra? *smile* Great book suggestion though!
Happy Spring to you too!
Thanks for reminding me about the first day of Spring Linda! I totally forgot! Maybe I forgot because we are suppose to get snow today :)
I want to check that book out. It looks really interesting. It makes sense if you think about it.
Happy First Day of Spring to you!
I love the painting and your colors are always so great.
The book is one I'd definitely read.

Hi Linda, Love the painting and it sounds like you are having fun with this series. I was just over at Melissa's site, looking at your beautiful portrait of Emmitt. You animal portraits have such life and personality to them. : )
