Taking Chances
Transitions involve taking chances...and you never quite know how things will turn out or how you'll react. I'm finding though...that even though they're hard...the emotional growth you gain is always good. You just gotta hang in there to find out what that is.
Moving to a new home and neighborhood was not easy and the stress pretty much kicked me in the behind. However, it's pushing me to new beginnings and I'm grateful for that.
I'm also grateful to have a crazy dog that makes me laugh each and every day no matter what the heck is going on in my world!

Moves are very hard. I love my house, but I mourned my old neighborhood and neighbors for at least a year after we had settled in. Enjoy that new studio girl ... and enjoy being in the moment with your girl.
Take one day at a time and you'll forget ever feeling this way! Maisie is so sweet...... I'm glad she's helping you get through this transition!
oh look at the goofball! i love her! hug miss maisie for me and emmitt.

My sis just went through a big move and I know first hand through her how stressful it was! Glad it's behind you now. Also glad you are back to producing beautiful art.
I like this piece... I also like that it's called "happy" chances.

She is so cute! You'll be getting your grove back in no time, I'm sure.
Glad you are back in the blogosphere again! You studio looks great, we are all drooling with jealousy. I love the dog pics. He is so darned cute!
Love your new mixed media piece Linda...looks like your move has had a positive effect and given you lots of creativity.
I've been looking through the posts I've missed lately and love the picture of your new studio with Maisie hanging out there. It really looks like a dream studio.
I hear ya about the whole moving issue, even if moving is a good thing, it is still stressful and when it is over, it feels like somebody ran you over with a freight train. : )
Now it is over for you so enjoy it all....again, love that studio!!!
