Oh Maisie!

Maisie in doggie dreamland

I think I'm having one of those days! I finally got around to painting this afternoon...but look who decided she liked the spot right where I needed to be! You can see that her big fluffy dog bed is at the bottom left of the picture but...oh no...she wants to be laying on the towel under my easel! What a crack-up. Guess I'm going to hold off on the painting for awhile. Gee, I wonder who's the boss in THIS studio!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I know this situation too...when I paint I always have one of the dogs on the chair with me and the rest under the table. I have 6 Bosses!

It's understandable though...how could you bring yourself to move her?? I couldn't either.

I'm so glad you didn't move her. After all...what's more important?
She is so sweet! What would we do without them?
Have a great weekend!

Trust Maisie's instincts...I think.

What an industrious studio assistant! Maybe Maise is brainstorming your next big project for you... :)

Her way of telling you to take the day off from painting....dogs do have a way of letting you know what they want without saying a word...

Maisie aside, you've been so busy, Linda! Such and out-pouring of art from you since you got into your new studio. I love the contrast between your "Secret Garden" and "Winter House" paintings. We just had our first snow yesterday here in Maine! All white out my window!

Maisie is so sweet! It's great she can be in your studio with you. I've had so much glass flying around ...... not good for Otis!

Ha ha! Pono does the very same thing, and sometimes when I am painting, he quietly lays down right behind me. I have nearly stepped back on him more than once! Your studio looks much cleaner than mine does....

I see Maise has Liberty's sleeping technique down... what is it with those goofy dogs? Hugs to all...

Sadly, I used to sit in a fold out chair in my studio and Freedom would form into an orb to fit right in between the legs just to be (literally) under my feet!

This looks so familiar...and has happened to me before, whether dog or cat! Cute.
