Lucy and MaisieYou probably remember the last photo I posted of Lucy and Maisie snoozing together?...well, here's another one for the cutie pie, priceless archives! The two of them wanted to demonstrate (via performance art) the phrase "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" as another good motto for the New Year. It means to avoid restarting old conflicts. Wow, the subtle creative ways of these dogs
never ceases to amaze me!
So the Friday after New Years, my friend, Kathleen and I went to a show at Visions West Gallery in Denver. I was particularly taken with the work of two amazing Artists that I'd like to share with you. Take a look at the paintings of Marti Somers and the sculpture of Brad Rude.
Brad's piece below reminds me of something Maisie would do! His work is so fun and whimsical.

Cutie pies.... I love it when one of my pups uses the other one as a pillow. That doggie in the sculpture looks kind of like Miss Mais.

Hi Linda....don't you just love when dogs lay together like that...I just found a picture of my two goldens and it was so cute. Gunther had both his back legs resting onto of Sissy's back, like she was an ottoman....

Adorable picture and that sculpture is amazing.
Marti is a good art compadré of mine since we first were in our old rep group together. She is a very generous artist and connected me with several art contacts. I love her work.
