Future Artist and a Great Actor

"Doodles in Color"
by Theo Krueger

I think we have a little Artist in the making here. That would be my friend, Theo Krueger, age five. He made my day today by giving me this beautiful painting that he created at school a couple of weeks ago. Thanks so much, Theo...you da best and I love it!

So did ya'll watch the Academy Awards Sunday night? I know I'm a few days behind here...but I had to comment on Mickey Rourke. This guy just breaks my heart with his love for his dogs. When I saw that he was wearing a necklace with Loki's picture (his dog that just passed away at age 17) on the Red Carpet, I was a goner. I know people have their own opinions about Mickey...but anyone who loves their dogs like he does has a heart of gold. It was enough to inspire Mary Duffy to write a great article about it here on ThirdAge.com.

"Mickey and Loki"

Hope you're having a good week out there. Guess I'd best get Maisie out for an afternoon walk now since I just spotted her digging in the garden again. Bad girl!!

Theo is definitely a little artist!!
I also thought the same thing when I saw Mickey Rourke's necklace. I read in the paper that he got another dog named Oscar!

I really like Theo's painting! And yeah, Mickey Rourke--he may look a little strange on the outside these days, but he obviously loved his little dog!! And we can all relate to that!

Honestly, that painting could be framed with very dramatic effect!

You know, Mickey Rourke is a little out of the box, but he was pretty darned cute back in the day. I don't go around broadcasting it to everyone, but I have a bit of a soft spot for him in my heart. I'll bet he's a good friend. He sure loved his dog!

Hi Linda...nobody loves dogs more then I do..well, alot of people do but Mickey Rourke and his crazy looking dog are just a bit over the top for me...I did hear the poor little thing just died so that's a shame but Mickey really needs to take a bath....hope that's not too harsh...

Hello! I just saw a blog about Mickey on Valerie's Blog and she mentioned this, so I had to come by. I LOVE Mickey! I hope all the best for this guy. Cause anyone who loves their dog (an animal) like this, has to be a great person.

Btw, I was in Boulder last summer. Such a beautiful and wonderful place! I want to live there.:)

Nice painting, Theo! What a great gift. I don't watch tv, and so I am a little behind all the time, but anyone who loves dogs is all right with me!!!
