Maisie is mad...

...at me for working on another cat! She's avoiding eye contact with me this morning...but I have a feeling she'll get over it pretty quickly. Roasted turkey bribes work every time.

Anyway...I'm posting it without her knowing it. Here is Kahla...a mixed media drawing on watercolor paper.

Have a good weekend everyone!

What gorgeous green eyes and that tortoise shell fur must have taken you hours to render! Give Maisie a Milk Bone for me...

I love her, Linda! I like seeing some kitty cats added to the mix.
You are sooo good with both....& everything else for that matter!

This is so sweet. I love the small size and the collaged parts are perfect. The greens and yellows really work well with the eyes!

Glad to have you back! XOXO

I love the strong colors in the background on this one. Great example of how "pink" does not have too be frivolous or wimpy. The pink here is strong, bold and sturdy some how. And of course Kahla is stunning. Actually your last post had a great example of strong pink too. Loving it!

Linda, I think this may be my very favorite of your cat pieces. I really love the texture of the fur! Don't worry, Maisie knows where your heart lives!
