Abstract Aberration!

"The Dress"
5" x 6.5" acrylic and collage on paper

This is my third and last abstract piece for the week. As I was painting it...an orange dress appeared in the middle! Must have been Halloween spooks still lurking in my studio.

I painted it on a paper surface I had prepared in Shari Beaubien's workshop a couple of months ago. I loved the textures that developed using her techniques. Hope I did ya proud, Shari!

Have a great weekend everyone! xo

Wonderful abstracts Linda. I wouldn't even know how to begin to do one. I like the fact that you have such varied style.

Hi Linda:

I just took a peek through your blog to catch up. I love the picture of Abby as Dracula!! What a sweetheart.

I also really love your new abstract. The pepto pink and bright orange really pull the eyes in.

Miss Linda! You've been a busy gal. Love the dog Santas and the calendar. Great idea. And these abstractions! Beautiful.

Thinking of you in chilly Colorado. Looking at a mountain sounds good right about now....
