Be Mine?

"Jazz"

This little girl was a neighbor of mine a few years ago. I took this picture of her when she was a puppy... **no pugs were harmed with rose thorns during the making of this photo! Yes, the rose was actually a digital addition...even though I could see Jazz doing this. She was such a little ham!

Anyway...this is my Valentine of love and thanks to all of you out there. Hope you have a great day surrounded by those you cherish.

Thanks also for your very sweet and compassionate comments about Steve and Kathleen. They were appreciated more than you know. Steve comes home from the hospital today and is doing much better. What a great Valentine gift for Kathleen and the rest of us!

Linda:

How lovely that Steve and Kathleen can have Valentine's Day at home instead of in the hospital. I so hope and pray that all goes well for him.

Ahhhh, Jazz is gorgeous. I can see all of my little ones doing that but... the rose wouldn't be nearly that perfect once they had it in their paws... lol.. Sending a prayer along for your friend. Hugs... jaYne

Hi Linda and Maisie! Jazz the valentine pug is adorable! I just finished catching up on Miss Maisie's cast adventures -- the poor sweet girl -- it was really cute how the vet decorated the new cast. And I'm so glad your friend Steve is doing better and coming home from the hospital -- I will keep him and Kathleen in my prayers. Your paintings are always so beautiful and blissfully colorful -- and I love the collage you made when you were a kid -- it cracked me up about how you envisioned yourself as a dog!! Very cute.

Hi Linda & la belle Maisie,

I have been behind in my blog reading. How did I miss this post? Old age must truly be setting in.

Jazz looks cute with the rose - a perfect Valentine's Day post.

I hope things are improving for your friends ... and that Maisie is healing.
