Two Peas in a POD

Go ahead...you can say it, Linda is a blog slacker! I've been trying to keep caught up with things...but I forgot how time consuming it is to move! I've been swept up in a vortex of change and movement this past year, so landing on my feet in our new home will surely feel good.

This past week, our main goal was to unload our basement and some large furniture pieces into the wicked POD (as we call it now!). There was a lot of lifting, carrying, loading and cleaning (oh and a little cussing too)...during the hottest few days we've had here in Boulder! We did it though and made our deadline...the house went on the market yesterday. The POD is now back in POD-land and will re-appear when we move. What a great invention. Bless the POD.

I'm trying to focus on some painting the next few days so I hope to have something to show you very soon. In the meantime...enjoy the work of Timothy Chapman, an Artist from this area I truly admire. His animal paintings are amazing...check more of them out at Visions West Gallery of Denver.

Great work from Chapman! Hey there are worse things than being a blog slacker ... do not be so hard on yourself.

Thank you for introducing me to Timothy Chapman's art. It is wonderful! Good luck with the moving. Just think, almost one year in the new house, and I STILL haven't unpacked all of my books. I am sure you will be more organized than that!

Hey Blog Slacker.....Love the acrylic painting you are showing, his work looks beautiful, I'll have to check more of it out.

As for you lady, you shouldn't pressure yourself...moving has to come ahead of blogging LOL, I think all your reader will understand that. We moved last year in June...like the hottest June in the world practically. I had to move my perennial garden during that month as well, it was hot and miserable. No fun to move in the blazing heat or the mess of snow either. Take good care and don't pressure yourself so much. Enjoy the excitement of your new home. All the best.

I loathe moving....so disruptive. I've always loved Timothy Chapman's work.

You're moving!?! I'm kind of envious, because I want to move house, too! Good luck with everything... I know it's an overwhelming project to sort!!

Ahhh... the whole moving situation. As you might remember, we moved last year. It was one of the hardest things I'd done in a long time. There was just so much to do! Hang in there and take deep breaths. At least this is something you want to do, so that always helps. That's what kept me going was knowing what the prize was at the end of the journey (the very long, long, long journey!)

And this Zebra piece is really gorgeous. What a great artist!

My fridge is clean - not a thing on it. In the last house it was covered with picturesa and magnets but somehow it has managed to stay a clutter-free fridge.

Have a great weekend!!
