Winter Wonderland

Here's the view we woke up to last Friday morning. I took it from our upstairs bedroom. What a beautiful blanket of white!

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving weekend. We had a good one...hosted Thanksgiving dinner here in our new house. Since I'm a vegetarian...James was in total charge of cooking the turkey. I made roasted vegetables and everyone else brought a favorite dish. It was fantastic! Maisie was especially pleased as her papa made a very special batch of turkey-vegetable soup from the leftovers just for her. Doggie heaven.

Below is a new painting I just finished today titled, "Winter Night". It was pretty cold here over the weekend so I guess I needed to paint a nice cozy house to nest in. If it were a true "O'Neill" house though...it would have a doggie door! A house is not a home without one.:)

Happy belated Thanksgiving! We finished most of our house renovations *just* in time to host Thanksgiving as well. And I'm also a vegetarian but I took one for the team and made two turkeys. I brined them and roasted them (major hands-on-the-raw-meat action)--I better get some brownie points from my carnivore family and husband!

Both the photograph and your painting are gorgeous. I can't stop looking at the painting. Absolutely beautiful!!!

Miss you!
xoxo,
Christine

Beautiful photo and painting. Looks like I got out of Co. just in time from teaching my workshop. I'm from AZ. Be back in Co. in March, hope there is no snow by then.

Thank you for stopping by etsy and for the lovely comment.

The photo is a picture perfect postcard. You already have your holiday card image! I can only imagine what that is like living here in Florida. We had 30's last night and I thought I wouldn't make it thru the night. Beautiful colors in the collage. Nice work!
