Wake up - It's Monday!

Well, it's Monday morning, and Maisie hit the snooze alarm! It's a cold morning here (11 degrees) so I think she's not quite ready to face the day. Maybe someone needs to invent doggie coffee?

Sorry I haven't been around lately...seems the last two weeks have been a quick blip on my map! Actually, I've been taking a step back from painting and have been doing some research on a few changes that will be taking place at Abby Creek Studios. I'm thinking about a "new look" and a new website...all which as you know, take an enormous amount of time to produce. My gut has been telling me to do this for quite awhile now though...so it's time to jump in and follow through.

By the way...the Chinese New Year is almost upon us. Do you know what your animal sign is and what the Year of the Ox has in store for you? Figures, I was born in the Year of the Dog!

Have a great day! xox

Maisie looks so warm and cozy. I know just how she feels. I'm still in my pajamas at two in the afternoon!

Good luck with your changes. I've just upgraded my blog recently and it did take some time.

Give Maisie a big sloppy dog hug for me!

Hi Linda...I love to see your dogs sleeping...just like children. Poor Boo is getting old, he can't get up on the bed anymore...we bought the doggy steps to make it easier for him and he broke them his first time out....

Wake up Maisie! Time to go play in the snow.

Welcome back. I'm sure the time away was good for you. It definitely pays to step back and try to take an objective look at things.

Hi Linda - Your new project sounds exciting. I look forward to seeing what you do. The web makes everything seem so deceivingly effortless. Yes, you can put a website in an hour, but it's all about the millions of little details.

BTW, I am a ram in the Chinese zodiac and an aries (ram) in the other one. So you can imagine the issues I have with charging into new things all the time. A blessing and a curse.

Dog coffee eh? Not a bad idea! Add a little gravy and they'll be hooked :)

Hi Linda!

What a sweet photo of Maisie! I am feeling the way she looks - I will stay in bed, asleep until spring, thank you very much. 11 degrees!!! ugh. No wonder I moved to southern ca. ha ha

Good luck with your new changes. Sounds exciting!

Dogs have it made I tell ya...mine sleep 23 hours a day. I can't wait to see your new "look". I think it is the time of year that also prompts us to step back and re-evaluate where we are going and what we need to change...it's a good thing.

Hi Linda-
Thanks for the blog visit. Let me know if you like the cookies. In the past I've tried honey but it just wasn't the same. This agave worked really well.

Hi Linda,

Sounds like you have been busy thinking about making some changes. You are right, website work takes a lot of time and thought, to get just what you want.

I hope you'll let us know what you decide to go with...
