Artist Spotlight

Best Friend New York Artist Spotlight

Hey there! I'm back from the Bay Area. James and I had a great time seeing our families AND managed to avoid the rain deluge while we were there. Maisie had a wonderful time here with her best friend, Auntie and dog sitter extraordinaire, Mary. I don't think Mary got a lot of sleep while we were gone though. We've had two coyotes taking up residence on the other side of the irrigation ditch by my studio. They make Maisie crazy and when they howl...SHE howls...usually in the early morning hours. Oh great.

I wanted to share some news about the above "Artist Spotlight" with you. I am featured on Best Friend New York's Featured Artists page right now. Best Friend NYC donates a portion of all proceeds from work generated by the Artist Spotlight to the ASPCA. Take a look at some of the other Dog Artists as well...there's some fantastic work there.

Hope you're having a good week out there! Back soon with some new art...

Welcome home, Linda! Congratulations, that is such exciting news.
Maisie the dog that howls at coyotes. Makes me laugh, because Pono listens to them howl, but he does not join in. He merely trembles in excitement.

Congratulations, Linda! How exciting for you, and a great cause too.

I think it's so funny that Maisie is howling with the coyotes.

Hugs,
Donna

Very impressive...but then again so is your art work...congratulations!....Maisie needs to howl along with Boo some time...every night we all have a HowlFest....we start and he joins in....we think he really like when we do this and it's our way of bonding....it sometimes backfires when the phone rings...many people have heard the howling on the other end of the phone and wonder what in the world we are doing....Oh for the love of our pets!!
