New painting 'n stuff

"Daydream"
20" x 20" acrylic and collage on canvas
Prints available for sale at Imagekind.com

Here's the painting I worked on all last week. It finally came together Friday after changing gears a little. I altered the color scheme a bit, added a few more layers of paint and finally got what I was after. Hope you like it!

Hope you all had a good Easter weekend too! James and I kicked it off by going to the "First Friday" Boulder Art walk. We saw some great work including several beautiful and unique paintings by Michael Gadlin of Denver. Here's a link to his Facebook page so you can check out some of his work.

I'm working on finishing another abstract today so back soon with more new art!

hi linda!
oh i just love it!
there is so much dimension in this painting.
i really see angles like a building with windows and doors.
the pinks and purples really play off of each other with the white highlights to show depth.

just perfect!

Linda...I read that today was your Anniversary. Hope you had a fabulous day.

I love the new piece. I think of you everyday when I look at the little painting you sent me. I chose the light turquoise color for the walls of my studio just so it would correspond to the painting.

It;s gorgeous Linda! I always adore your color choices. The green is awesome. I've been forcing myself to use it the last two paintings...lol!
