Starlight Starbright

"Silent Starlight"
24" x 24" acrylic and collage on canvas

Wooooweee...it's cookin' here in Boulder today! It's supposed to reach almost 100 degrees. I don't know about you...but I was raised in Northern California and I like it to be foggy in the morning and a sunny 72 degrees in the afternoon. Some might call me a weather wimp...and they would be right.

This painting is next in line from my new series. I'm interested in adding more organic and natural forms to my work right now. I want the paintings to convey a dreamlike feeling...of being gently enveloped by color, shape and light.

Hope it's cooler in your neck of the woods...time to turn on the AC here!

I love this painting, Linda! Love the colors in it.

It's hot and muggy here in the south. Too hot to be outside.

Stay cool!
Hugs,
Donna

Hi Linda,
Just stumbled across your blog via a friend's blog and taking a spin through your posts. I'm really liking what I see and look forward to seeing more in the future.

And yes, Colorado is smokin' hot lately! :)
