Cutie Pie Oscar
Here he is...one of Maisie's best dog park friends, Oscar! Oscar knows how to play with the big dogs and doesn't take any sass. He's a St. Bernard in a tiny Boston Terrier body! The photo of Oscar that I worked from is below.
And congrats to Christine from I Heart Dogs ...she guessed that I was painting a Boston Terrier from the hint I gave in my last post. I'll be sending you some greeting cards of Oscar soon, Christine!

Lordy Lordy...I'm not 40!
Oh my...today, I turn the big 5-0! I don't know quite how that happened considering I've been 39 the past few years! Yikes!
That's me in the picture above with my first dog, Jiggs. I don't know who's birthday this was...mine or his. We always celebrated his too with cake and hats...the works. He was a very special Boston boy. (Wasn't he cute, Leigh?)
And what a wonderful surprise to get this book in the mail the other day. It's called, "Pretty in Pink, Why It's Good To Be A Girl!". My friend, Carol sent it to me. Carol and I grew up together and have know each other since we were 5 years old. She remembered that I liked pigs so thought of me when she saw this. Go and get this book because it is adorable! It will make you smile. Thank you, Carol...for such a sweet b-day gift!
So wish me luck today...I'm venturing into the unknown territory of the next century of my life!I won't think about that today though...I just want some cake!

Happy St. Patrick's!
Being an O'Neill...I couldn't let today go without wishing you all a Happy St. Patty's Day! At this very minute James is down in the kitchen cooking up Colcannon and Irish Soda Bread to bring to our Irish friend's, The Mooney's tonight.Something you probably didn't know about me too...is that I am a nut about Boston Terriers. I used to have one as a child...named Jiggs. He was the sweetest thing ever (besides Abby of course)...and I have such warm memories of him. This photo is from a great Boston site called
"The Gem Sisters". There are some fabu photos of Boston Terrier sisters; Ruby, Opal and Diamond. This cutie pie above is Ruby.
So let me leave you today with this little Irish blessing...
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
